This personal project was created as a fictional advertisement for a Dior handbag.
The main idea was to design a poetic and elegant atmosphere where nature gracefully unveils the product.
I used Houdini for the FX, mainly working with Vellum to animate flowers and grass. These natural elements move and bloom to reveal the Dior bag, which features floral patterns.
The compositing was done in Nuke.

Flower modeling and variation setup, inspired by Danny Laursen’s setup.
This step focuses on building natural flower forms and procedural variations.
This part focuses on optimizing the flower simulation before running it through Vellum.
I cleaned the flower geometry, removed unnecessary collisions, and created custom constraints to achieve a more stable and efficient simulation.
In this part, I created the grass simulation using a simple guide-based setup combined with wind forces inside Vellum.
